Valley Goes Pink! is an inspirational and impactful opportunity to raise money and awareness to help find a cure for breast cancer. All donations raised support the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) and their mission to find a cure. Valley Goes Pink has raised over $700,000 for the Research Department under the direction of Dr. Larry Norton of the world renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This research has not only benefited those with breast cancer, it has also assisted in the treatment of many forms of cancer. Everyone is touched by cancer in different ways and we are proud to support the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation. Participating in Valley Goes Pink! empowers you to make a difference and provides you with an opportunity to honor someone affected by cancer.
Activities
9:00 am - Registration and Team Photos will take place at 1460.
Walk
11:00 am - The walk will begin at 1460 Valley Road, proceeds to the end of Urban Club Road and returns to 1460. Door prizes and 50/50 drawings will begin at approximately 12:00 PM.
Parking
1445, 1455 Valley Road and Barbour Pond Road.
We encourage you to car pool, as parking is limited. Additional parking may be available at Hankook Tire located at 1450 Valley Road.
50/50 Raffle
In addition to funds raised through donations, we are trying to add $25,000 to that total by selling 50/50 raffle tickets. Tickets are only $10 each! The drawing will be held during the walk on Valley Road in Wayne, but participants do not need to be present in order to win. There will be three tickets drawn, with the winner getting 30% of the proceeds, 2nd place getting 15%, and 3rd place getting 5%. Ticket sales are capped at 5,000, so the maximum potential prizes are $15,000, $7,500, and $2,500, respectively.
